Are there any standards for the insulation of a house?
The Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) is a government agency that has a mandate to protect the public and whose mission is to ensure the safety of buildings and facilities and the quality of work done on them.
It also ensures the professional qualifications and integrity of contractors and owner-builders.
The RBQ fulfills this mission by adopting, among other regulations, construction standards, safety and professional qualification.
Better known as the Building Code, the Construction Code is part of the Building Act and is administered by the RBQ.
